Glad the flower pics are bringing you smiles. Here's another one. Don't think I've posted it yet.

Whenallhellbreakslose Whenallhellbreakslose WONDERFUL! SO glad for you. May you continue on an upward trend! :cheerleader::hugs::clap:
N NY cat man Those are beautiful. I haven't heard of them, or seen them, before, but I love the orange and the leaves are beautiful, too. Thanks for sharing with us!
I would love to take credit, but those came from rubysmama rubysmama , although I will have more flower pictures in the near future, when more plants come into bloom, now that the early spring plants have finished for the year.

Guess my gardens are a bit behind you, as my tulips are still blooming, as are my spring perennials. Looking forward to seeing more of your flowers, once the next ones start blooming.

OOPS. Sorry! rubysmama rubysmama rubysmama rubysmama Thank you for those gorgeous orange flowers!
No worries. Glad you liked the orange flowers. 🤗

We posted about white ones earlier in the week, so here's a white Candytuft.

We still have some of the plain yellow tulips in bloom, as they came on about 2 weeks after the fancy ones did. The Widow's Tears are starting to bloom, but only a few blossoms as yet. Same goes for the Aquilegia; I'll wait until there is something to see first. Everything else- the hyacinths, grape hyacinth, daffodils, fancy tulips, and the 'Beth Evans' spring larkspur are all done. We tried to plan it so that there is always something new coming on. Sometimes it even works.

rubysmama rubysmama Another one I haven't seen or heard about -- thank you! They're beautiful.
N NY cat man I love all of those, though there are none here. We had blue larkspur -- my dad loved them -- but the gardener killed them. Actually, he killed several favorites here including a bird of Paradise and the black Calla lilies. :sigh:

Just here for a minute. Banjo has an appointment. We are trying to document as much as we can. I heard back from Cornell and they are interested in the progress and findings too. I feel like Banjo is in good hands at this point but I do wish I had a cat party bus take her to meet all the fantastic people who are contributing to her well being and sending prayers, lighting candles and giving us suppprt! Love to everyone and we’ll keep you posted. Love, love all the flowers and posts. Thank you! I read each one.:cloud9::bicolorcat:

A cat party bus sounds wonderful!!! We need for there to be one of those, don't we? Studio Ghibli Are Making a Real Life Version of the Catbus from ‘My Neighbour Totoro’
Maybe we could get them to make one for Banjo and eFURRYone! *PRAYERS* from the heart for her to be wormless and THRIVING!

rubysmama rubysmama Ohhh! I have seen that phlox before but never had that one. It is one of the prettiest of phlox to me. I bet it smells pretty too! Beautiful!
I did not get put on hold too long but I did get cut off once. Lol I ended up sending an email and that got through.
Now that Geum is cool! Very pretty! I don’t think I know that one at all! Is it related to Geraniums? The leaves kind of look like it. Also look something like strawberry leaves. Are they fuzzy or is that my vision? Lolololol The candytuft is something I remember zoom having. I haven’t seen any since. Nice memory. Thank you!

Kitty spa day! That’s so cute. I did have the odd moment but just odd. Lol No relax time yet but working my way there. It is going to be a constant scrubbing routine until we have gotten through tapeworm meds for all and then again! That haven’t even come in yet! Ack! More in next post. Send the kitty unrolling TP my way! I can use the help on cleaning! Lolololol

tabbytom tabbytom Thank you Taking care.
I do love the Pawverb! Yes. Our best friend is therapy. I get a lot of therapy at home and right here. I consider myself extremely fortunate!

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 Yes. Close on paws here.
I really laughed about Banjo flying a stealth bomber and dropping catnip. Would that be leaflets? All for cats, of course! Lol It totally makes sense that her transport would be stealthy. She is a cat.
I am so sorry you lost the larkspur and black calla. To me, losing some of the plants I have had was very difficult. We develop a connection to plants that can be very close to our hearts. I really love the color in the blue larkspur. Bird of Paradise too? Unh. The thing about having gardeners is that they don’t know our personal treasures. They see the big picture when they look at a yard or garden. I used a gardener years ago and told him to “Stay out” of a certain part of the yard. He didn’t. He cut down my variegated flame azalea. Very uncommon plant. It took me ten years to bring it to flowering stage and it had flowers that year for the first time. His reaction? “I was just cutting the weedy shrub! It will grown back quick enough!” Nope. It is alive but still has not flowered again after another ten years. Maybe next year? At least it is alive. Half the height but it is trying.

Whenallhellbreakslose Whenallhellbreakslose Yes. I was very thin after being sick for so long. Agreed that stomach problems can be terrible. I still deal with the damage. Chickpeas are not an option. Unfortunately. It has taken me years to work up to the things I can eat now. At first it was ,”no guitar, no veggies, no meat, no grains, no dairy….” My reaction was ,” What else is there?” Starvation diet! As it turned out, they hoped I could live on things like white bread, white rice and white potatoes. Ummmm…. You can’t for very long! Then I developed a problem with gluten. Heh. Over time I started just eating small bites of this and that. Peanut butter was one of the things that was easiest for me early on. Now I can eat several kinds of fruit, a little meat, (weird but ham is one that was easiest to digest. Don’t know why, but I was grateful because I was sick of rice and potatoes! ) I can eat a little corn if it is well creamed, some dairy and slowly working my way back to a wider variety of things. They tell me to avoid anything with a hill, like grapes. Unhhhh. I love grapes! Watermelon is great! That was another good I could eat early on. I really miss cereal and other grain things. Once in awhile o sneak a little. One day I will try grapes again! Not now though. The PB being bad has set me back.
A long time ago, a friend brought me an aloe drink. I tried it but it didn’t like me. Lol Maybe I can try again since it has been awhile. Thanks for reminding me of that!

pearl99 pearl99 Very glad you are having a mild case of COVID! Keep getting better! Hugs! Up , up and away! Fly from that bug!
You laughed at Muffin? Me too! I keep wondering what she would have done to me if I had a couple of feathers sticking out of my mouth!?!?! She actually tapped my lip to try and look inside my mouth. These kitties are so funny! Such good kitties. She was going to save that bird! Bad hooman!

Maria Bayote Maria Bayote Heh! Yes! Muffin is a smarty pants! Very much so! I can never fool that one. She knew where the bird sounds were coming from. I once gave her a large toy bird for cats and she looked at it for a minute. Then she looked straight at me with ,”That Muffin look” as if to say,” You know that’s not real. Right?” She tries very hard to educate her hooman!
Flowers make me smile too. From the tiniest bud, a smile blooms. I am so glad that smiles are growing now. :hugs:

Whenallhellbreakslose Whenallhellbreakslose Good news?!?! :woo::banana1::bunnydance::jump::jive::woohoo:Yay! Prayers, hope, good wishes and never giving up works!

N NY cat man Something in boom all the time? Lol For me, that worked if I planted dozens of different flowers but even then….. not always. I interspersed with annuals as needed. Good ole marigolds we’re helpful to fill in here. Thise usually leave some seed for next year too. I like thise to help keep bugs away from the other plants too. Companion planting is something I find interesting.
Oh pearl99 pearl99 Pansies and a squirrel! Precious! I love all the flowers but that is such a cute photo!

rubysmama rubysmama That cartoon made me laugh. It also made me remember how often I tell people that some weeds are good. In fact, flowers all began as weeds. Lol Here is why Dandelions are beneficial. Not that we want nothing but dandelions…..

Here’s how our appointment went today. No meds yet. They are on order still. I had also asked them to go ahead and order the fleas meds ahead which is a good thing because they have not come in yet either. I still have time on that though. Hoping the tapeworm meds come soon because the specialist wants to re-evaluate Banjo to see if they work to shrink the tissue mass. I have updated the specialists from here to the vet school and we wait. I had also contacted Cornell University. Once again, the doctors have never heard of a case like this and they are very interested to be kept updated. I will. If I could get Banjo there, they would be interested in participating but, I can’t. Also today, Banjo got retested for any other conditions like FIV. The tests were negative! Yay!!!!!!

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 Yes! Cat party bus! Just imagine if Banjo could be a kitty advocate and teach about this strange new condition! Banjo is a rescuer at heart. Everyone involved with this hopes that what we learn will save kitty lives! It may have looked like wet FIP but it wasn’t! From the east coast, to west and north to Canada! Banjo bus! I told her she would need a special license to drive a bus but you know Banjo, she can do it!
All seriousness, if we could load up as a traveling Clowder, I would! I think that most vet schools and vets would be very interested to follow and document the case of Banjo.

Hmmm. Maybe trade in our house for a house on wheels? It certainly would make it easier to get the word out. Also easier to get Banjo where she needs to be. I have traveled with 16 in a Mini van but I think we would need more room for a longer trip. Lots of room for litter boxes and all our TCS friends too! ;) Now, who would need to fly to meet the bus? I wonder if Banjo has any celebrity friends who have a tour bus they aren’t using? Cat tour?

It would be especially cool if the bus was the ,” Catbus”!

I know guitars 🎸 are an essential part of my daily diet, so that must have been hard. J suggests swapping them for rocks and wood chips.

They tell me to avoid anything with a hill, like grapes.
I can't figure this one out, either! Skin? Seed?

Give me a minute to stop laughing or we’ll have more typos! (I just went back and changed HIVE to GiVE! Lololololol Thst one was on me!)
Funny but I was thinking the other day that there were less typos.
How did fruit become guitars? Is that somehow related to typing Banjo a lot?🤣:headscratch: Tell J that I will try the wood chips first. Maybe some cherry chips? Hickory chips?
Hill should be hill <<<<<<< it just did it again! Hill should be hill! No! Lololol Hill is HULL. As in skin. Lol Auto incorrect. Auto Banjo? Banjo!!!!!!!:bicolorcat::bluepaw:

Thank you for showing me! I laughed!

rubysmama rubysmama and Jcatbird Jcatbird My grandmother told me that a weed is just a flower growing in the wrong place. Wrong for us, that is, not for the weed! She also told me that every drop of rain is the answered prayer of a blade of grass. I remember getting in a bit of trouble when I responded, "Well, I wish the grass would SHUT UP for just a minute!" In my defense, I was 10, and the rain had been non-stop for four days.
