That is the sweetest sunshine kitty photo. The contrast of sun and shadow is beautiful. The flowers are beautiful too. The nice thing about smiles is that they keep coming.
Someone has the munchies and it looks like they don't want to share!Don’t judge me. I am curing a catnip hangover.

Perfect timing for the Sarah's Garden rose.My vision is blurry this week from being to the eye specialist but even I can see the beauty.
Perhaps the last rose of the season before true cold sets in, this is from Sarah’s Garden. A rose for us all.
Oh, dear. Well, at least Muffin shared the nip with others. Some of us may have had a bit too much catnip last night.
Yes, they give us a reason to get up in the morning. They need us.I think purrs keep me going sometimes.
Ha! I can relate. It would be nice to not have to shovel our way through life.I seem to shovel a lot more as I get older. Lol Just not snow. It would be better if we didn’t have to shovel though.
You'll have to share that with me some time, I never heard of it/read it.I grew up hearing the rhyme about red skies too. As I got older I learned it went back to a Bible verse in Mathew.
Deal! She would require that you use the spin cycle on the washer a lot though. Then you can shop together.
That time has come around again? This year went by so fast...Sending love & prayers. The past few days have been a part of the time I set aside each year for remembering the sunlight given to me.
Yes, hopefully it gets us through.we can draw strength from seeing and sharing the magnificence of nature and the sweetness of cats and good friends.
Lovely pics of my Little Lady & Spicy Muffin.Do I have catnip in my fur?
Hee hee. You're so silly Whistle.I might be a little bit of a basket case right now.
Muffin! I've heard of a 40-ounce but you being smaller, look like you've met your match with that 30-ounce!Partied a little too hearty, have we? Well, Chez Catbird is a very welcoming place to sleep it off in comfort, safety and LOVE.Sharing catnip is a loving thing to do. It has an effect though! Lol Thanks to the ferals, the smiles continue!
Hmmmmm. A big cat pile. Where does one cat start and another end?

Sure you are……….
And back at'cha on the "in our thoughts and Prayers" Jcatbird and all at Chez Catbird (and loved ones)! Glad Big Mackie has his necessary food. Stay safe, all!I will try to come back later but already having signal issues. We are in for a freeze over several days. This area is never prepared for weather like this. If the power goes out, I will not have water, heat or anything else so I am working to prepare as best I can. The rain is nearly freezing now! Brrrr! The ground is icy and sleet is in the area. Washing and filling water dishes, cooking up some extra food and locating all blankets and emergency supplies. I was expecting a cat food delivery but….. not sure if it will come but we have enough to get through. Thank you Chewy for sending the food for Mackie just in time!
I am thinking of others facing this storm who are not living in areas that stay prepared. Bring kitties/animals inside wherever possible! Put up tarps or other shelters if you can. Provide heat if possible. I have heat going inside the greenhouse here. There are blankets and high shelters inside for any creature that needs dry shelter. One catio is set up under the eaves of the house and it is as insulated as I could make it. May all creatures, great snd small, stay warm , fed and dry.
I will be back when I have done all I can here. If I cannot return for awhile, you will all be in our thoughts and prayers. Sending warm purrs. Warm hugs. Love and sunny smiles!

My boy is not really attracted to catnips. I bought his first catnip kickeroo when he was very young and before I could open the package, he was like hovering over it and when I opened it up and gave him the kickeroo, he went crazy and bunny kicking it and was salivating lots. After awhile, he stooped and he really stopped playing with it again. It's just like he drained out the kickeroo Then I bought another catnip toy for him and he went kicking it once in awhile.Sharing catnip is a loving thing to do. It has an effect though! Lol Thanks to the ferals, the smiles continue!
Hope you gat all the stuffs need to tie over the cold spell and hope all water is running and no electricity cut off and the Chowder have their food.I will try to come back later but already having signal issues. We are in for a freeze over several days. This area is never prepared for weather like this. If the power goes out, I will not have water, heat or anything else so I am working to prepare as best I can. The rain is nearly freezing now! Brrrr! The ground is icy and sleet is in the area. Hope the icy weather isn't too bad, and doesn't last too long. I know you southerners aren't prepared for it, but honestly, unless you have a generator, we northerners aren't much better off. Of course, our houses are likely better insulated, but once the power is off, they still cool down very quickly. And though we also have salt to put down on the roads, icy roads are dangerous even for salt trucks. So though I don't like blizzards, they usually cause less power outages than ice coated power lines and tree branches. Stay warm. And post when you can, just so we know you and the clowder are doing ok.I will try to come back later but already having signal issues. We are in for a freeze over several days. This area is never prepared for weather like this. If the power goes out, I will not have water, heat or anything else so I am working to prepare as best I can.
Glad the cats found the secret feral shelter. You, and Hekitty, stay safe and warm too.Things are icing over here, as well. I just put the third round of heated rice bags in the Secret Feral Shelter. I counted eight pussycats snuggled up in there. LOL, with that much body heat being generated, the rice bags may be overkill, but I won't take chances.
Lelia's never cared about catnip either. She'll play a bit with the super strong yeoww toys like the banana, but I've put out straight up catnip and she looks at me like "what's this?"My boy is not really attracted to catnips
Stay safe and warm...The power never went out last winter. I'm hoping for the same this winter. I just hate when the power goes out. It seems like you can't do anything without it these days.If the power goes out, I will not have water, heat or anything else so I am working to prepare as best I can.
Oh man, this is why I don't want to live in the country.During hurricanes the power can be out for a week or more.
That's terrible.no snow plows.
I can picture you doing this.I made her a poncho out of sheet plastic and duct tape along with a rain hat.
I like the way you think Banjo! Except I would order cheese, not cheetos.I think someone ordered food online.
Awww, Banjo you should have gotten Whistle something. Free shipping if you order more...Well Banjo, I would but you didn’t share!!!
Tankini is better, shows less skin.I have all those things, btw, except for the bikini.
