Guys, I just spoke with Jcatbird . Our precious Smokey has gone on, gone ahead, gone Home to be with Sarah and my Dad. She left earlier this afternoon, peacefully, with Jcatbird and her vet in attendance. Jcatbird will be back as soon as she is able.

To everyone here, thank you. All the love that has been shared with me and with Smokey, now and in years past, has filled our hearts. Mine is a bit wounded right now but I know that Sarah has been waiting for her fluffy guardian angel to be given back to her. Smokey was here to help me heal and I am sure she missed her human. I can imagine the joy of their reunion and that they dance together on rainbows now. I cannot possibly name everyone here who must feel this loss as I know many have invested their hearts along with me. Each response of a smile or laughter at our floof angel with the darling derpy expressions was a gift to me. I know that love gave Smokey a brightly guided path to follow. I try not to focus on the losses among kitties here as I think the positives far outweigh the losses. With great love can come great loss but with no love, we have nothing. Better to have the love. I hope to return soon with some of the photos that made us all laugh but for now, here are the most recent photos of the sweet cat that belonged here with us all.

For those who loved her....please stick with them to the end. No other can ever replace her but she was a great lover of all others and caregiver to every cat that entered her life. She would want the love to continue, of that I would never doubt.
