I hope you don’t mind but I am sending kisses to your kitty! I know he is already a Prince so, no magic needed to transform him. He has it all right there.
Sure, no problems with that. I think he'll love your kissesI hope you don’t mind but I am sending kisses to your kitty! I know he is already a Prince so, no magic needed to transform him. He has it all right there.
Getting tired Lady? Had enough for now? Lol
Well.....
These are lovely shots of LadyLet me think about that.
Funny you should say that, as a friend of mine just got a new kitten, and she says for the first time since their kids moved out, their house feels like a home again. Those who don’t love cats must surely feel something is missing in their lives but they just don’t know what it is.
My ex-FIL sneeringly referred to people like us as "do-gooders" and I always wondered why he was so miserable as to do that. His late first wife's parents condescendingly spoke of laws enacted in the Mojave, where they lived, to protect "the little animals" (said with a sneer) like they were enacted by unhinged people. Good mid-western values all around (said sneeringly by me).tarasgirl06 I do believe that if everyone loved a cat and was loved by a cat, our world would be far different. They make the best teachers to those who will watch and listen. I always feel sad for one who does not love cats. Not just as a “pet” but as they should be loved. Furmily. Those who don’t love cats must surely feel something is missing in their lives but they just don’t know what it is. Very sad for them to have that hole in their hearts. If we could help to fill those holes, all might be right with the world. Bears like these can make tough times bearable.
@dustydiamond1 I am glad Scamper has her to watch over him. Guardian to all the kitties there.

Kitties do bless our lives. They bring love and joy. They comfort and share every aspect of our lives. Nay sayers are so negative. I don’t know why people try to give negative responses to those who are doing something good. We don’t always reach our goals but even in trying we are doing something good and positive. Positive reinforcement helps us to reach higher, work harder and paves the road to make it easier for us to accomplish our goals. I can’t tell you how many negative people I have faced and how many others here have as well. I can tell you that some came to me later with praise when I started getting cats adopted. Truthfully though, my joy came from seeing the kitties safe. Each one safe was another goal met. By the time the last cat came in, it was more than joy. I was elated and felt an overwhelming sense of peace at the same time. I wouldn’t trade any moment of that for anything. The kitties are the reward. They are finally safe. You have support here. Always. Blessings for anything you can do.
M maggiedemi The kitty love goes both ways.
Absolutely! We do need to keep holding on and moving forward.
Muffin says to tell you that she is even better than coffee! A little more spice than coffee cake though. More like a hot pepper. Lol
Education is the key for the ferals.
Singing? Lol My Grandmother loved for me to sing but, she WAS my biggest fan. IDK but some of the kitties like me to sing so.... each to their own. I think you should sing anytime you feel like singing. If your friend can teach, that would be nice too.
tarasgirl06 I am definitely my own worst critic. Lol That’s okay though. It doesn’t stop me. It just makes me try harder.
Lady, you are such a floofy beauty! Our smiles tonight come from Lady.

It is funny how some of the the Nay-sayers around you were singing praises after you got all those cats off the streets. TG all those kitties are safe. I worry all the time over the outdoor kitties, it can really drain me at times.tarasgirl06 I do believe that if everyone loved a cat and was loved by a cat, our world would be far different. Golden gorgeousness!!!
Cats are pure love. They stand beside you when no one else will. Human beings also being mammals, understand this really well when it's proven to them. There is a lot of speciesism out there and a lot of that is generationally passed down, by family, certain religions' leadership, and just plain ignorant people. If you don't KNOW cats and you have been given bad information about them, you may never bother to investigate for yourself, especially in this society where thinking for yourself tends to be something a lot of people don't do. That's why every one of us who advocates for cats is an ambassador for cats. Cats' language is not understood by most humans so it's up to us to be their voice. It is funny how some of the the Nay-sayers around you were singing praises after you got all those cats off the streets. TG all those kitties are safe. I worry all the time over the outdoor kitties, it can really drain me at times.
Send some good thoughts my way as I start gearing up to try to get the friendly ones off the streets. Changes are coming and I got to get the ball rolling. I hope the negativity I have previously encountered over the cats doesn't rear it's ugly head again. I could do without that drama.
Well, thanks again for sharing your story. It truly is inspiring.
I have been called a "soft in the head idiot" by a family member for taking care of outdoor kitties. I have seen the hardships these cats and kittens faced. There is no way I can ignore their plight. I seriously just cannot understand people who ignore cats and kittens that are hungry, cold, and scared. There is something wrong with them, not us! We have a , what is going on with their's? There is nothing wrong with doing good and making the world a better place (in this case for the kitties). I SMH at people who live such a selfish existence, no wonder they are miserable, the same for the family member who put me down. In the words of my Grannie," Don't let the turkies get you down!" You are doing good in this world, what have those people who mock us done for the greater good? Seriously! My ex-FIL sneeringly referred to people like us as "do-gooders" and I always wondered why he was so miserable as to do that. Yes, our frailties and failures are life lessons for us! The word "can't" is one I try not to use. Of course there are things that are impossible for me to do at this point -- brain surgery? rocket building? saving the world? -- but that doesn't mean I can't do my little bit while I'm here. Each of us can. It's the best feeling there is, IMHO, knowing we have been able to help someone else. Those that don't and those that do not care are truly lacking so much.
And that's only the half of it. There are 2 more orange cats in the household- Prancer and Bashful.
THEY are the idiots. We are all here to share this planet. The "dominion" misinterpretation is just that. We are here to live with and help others, species no bar. Cooperation is success, not domination or aggression. At the end of their lives, if not before, they will be confronted with the emptiness and misery that has been their lives because they hardened their hearts. They are not the arbiters of this life. Their rebukes may sting, but bottom line, they are incorrect.I have been called a "soft in the head idiot" by a family member for taking care of outdoor kitties. Yes, tough love never works on me, I find it crushing. I much prefer positive reinforcement, up-building & paving.Positive reinforcement helps us to reach higher, work harder and paves the road to make it easier for us to accomplish our goals.
I wasn't exactly referring to kitty love, that's why I put the winking emoji. The kitty love goes both ways.
Well you know how I love my hot peppers. So I'm bound to love a spicy coffee kitty.Muffin says to tell you that she is even better than coffee! A little more spice than coffee cake though. More like a hot pepper.
Oh you're just teasing me. That's my Lady cat! Unhand her please, and send her to me ASAP.Our smiles tonight come from Lady.
Oh I love that. I'm going to borrow that for my life. Their words may sting, but they are incorrect.Their rebukes may sting, but bottom line, they are incorrect.
Please do! It's not original -- it's a universal truth. Glad to share! Because sharing truly IS caring.Yes, tough love never works on me, I find it crushing. I much prefer positive reinforcement, up-building & paving.

I consider myself honored to know each and every cat that I watch over. It is a privilege to help them in any way that I can. They have taught me so very much, these last three years. There is nothing I can do to ever repay that learning.https://thecatsite.com/data/avatars/s/116/116871.jpg?1491959398[/IMG] dustydiamond1 I am glad Scamper has her to watch over him. It certainly is! People mistake "dominion" for "domination." To me, the word "dominion" carries with it a large degree of accountability and husbandry, not mere control over. The "dominion" misinterpretation is just that.
