tarasgirl06 I’ll try again! Lol I just wanted to comment on the Froggie eyes. I have been in the swamp and seen many, many eyes at the edge of the water. None as captivating as Froggie though.

I enjoy the cat room too. I wouldn’t mind a spot like that myself! Lol It’s cheerful and bright.

M maggiedemi It sounds like Demi could eat a Katydid so Banjo asked that you come right away. Lol She’s really upset by that bug. I will PM you with where I was.

rubysmama If it keeps up I will go to site help. It’s pretty bad. I hope I can get that accomplished! Lol It like trying to write with disappearing ink! Rapidly disappearing.

rubysmama Froggie would have been even smaller than that to start out. About a quarter of that size. They are precious.
I am only having trouble here. I don’t know why but it’s getting difficult to post with pop ups taking the screen. It reminds me of when there is an update or interference. I even had a scam page show up. I’m investigating on my end but others report different issues. I am not getting alerts on some things. Hopefully it will pass.

Furballsmom Hmmmm. Maybe Banjo doesn’t like that bug because of what Katy did! She scared Froggie away.

@foxxycat That makes a great game for us! Can we find the Bee butt? Lol I did find her. Too funny! I guess frogs are popular with kitties.

tarasgirl06 The site problems are awful.I wonder how many people are missing posts or replies. This just went through as though finished and I had to edit to complete it.
I can pinpoint the day this all started. I hope the people I have been trying to help don’t feel abandoned.
I’m going to start again to try and finish.

Good on ya, Jcatbird , about documenting the start time. I do hope they can solve the problems. I posted on Site Help about not getting alerts when you post on this thread. That's the only problem I seem to be having at the moment, although there may well be more alerts I'm not getting.

The only problem that I have had is when I hit 'post reply annnnnd- nothing. Repeat, aaannnd- nothing again. Once more, and 3 posts appear by magic, instead of just one.

I hope this stops. I spend a great deal of time posting to try to help others but without alerts I don’t know if they are okay. I try to go into content but everything keeps cutting me off.

Let’s see if I can at least get our smiles in for tonight.

All kitties need lots of stimulating activities to keep them happy. Toys are great but a room with a view is something they love. I want the kitties to have plenty to watch outside as it gets colder so.....

A Froggie house is being started just outside the glass of the door. It has the remnants of the Wren nest and I am adding a deep layer of leaf litter. Moisture as well. There will be a small fish pool inside.

I was about to cover the house with the beach rug when I noticed something. Actually, Banjo started calling so I followed the eye of the cat! Lol My little cat alert system.

See the little dark spot? Something is under the rug.

Guess who.

There was a bonus too. A little furry friend. I guess I’ll wait to move the rug but Banjo got quite excited about Froggie moving nearer.

A critical eye was watching.

I stopped to get a bit of plastic to line the bottom but Banjo was anxious to see this finished.

Jcatbird , rubysmama and anyone else out there having problems with alerts, this is what mani wrote to me: "...Have you tried "unwatching" the forum and setting your preferences to no alerts, then go back and "watch" and click the alerts boxes again? That often gets rid of a glitch like that." I haven't done this yet but wanted to share in hope that others will also see and that it may solve the problem. Just as in any other tech issues, it's logical (and often effective) to power cycle.

The story of Froggie Prince and Banjo continues to enthrall and warm hearts!

One of the challenges some cat guardians face is keeping the kitties interested in playing. BJ is my biggest challenge since he is an older feral. While he loves playing with my glasses, that’s not a lot of exercise. Lol

Not my phone cord either guys!

We have a new game.

I went outside with a flashlight. Some cats just stood there and watched me as their entertainment. I guess they think the Hooman needs exercise.

I got the attention of some of the kitties though.

Banjo was the first to investigate the light.

She started to follow it around.

She’s a smart one though.

After studying the situation a minute...

She figured it all out and came straight to me.

When Banjo left in disgust, Kodiak took up the chase.

She went after the light for a little while before figuring out that when she caught it, it didn’t squeak, yell or wiggle. That’s the same problem I find with the cat laser toys.

After that a couple of others were mildly interested but I noticed that most had left the cat room! Hmmmm?

Whistle was scared of the bright monster in the dark. Poor Whistle. I should have guessed. He was on top of the piano with “big eyes” when I came back in.

Muffin looked at me like she really could not understand why I thought that might be fun.

Bj? Very relaxed and enjoying being on a nice furry blanket. He’s inside now and doesn’t see a reason to chase prey.

He did go back to my phone cord as soon as my attention shifted to writing this post!

I guess I have to go and snuggle a BJ now. ( and try to think of a new cat game.

I Googled, and "Bubble Poppers" seems to be an Apple thing. Maybe contact i-phone support?

Demi gets this happy look on his face when he's being super naughty. Like playing with my computer cords or swinging from my mom's clothes & ripping them with his claws. He only does it to her clothes, nobody else's.

I got an email notifying me of your post, Jcatbird , so that seems to be working okay! Not sure which iPhone you have but you can google "remove app from iPhone (model)" and you should be able to get rid of those unwanted apps. It's advisable to go through these from time to time and get rid of any you're not using anyway, as they suck battery. You may also want to adjust your SETTINGS to run only the apps you absolutely need all the time, because otherwise every app will be running in the background/24-7 and that sucks battery too. If you just installed 13, there are bugs for which apple has already issued an update. I'm trying to get it, but (oh, the irony!) it is "unable to check for update" because the software "encountered an error while trying to check for update"
