I heard about cat caretakers in the country who ended up feeding the Coyotes

I think that's illegal in NY. They say it makes the coyotes lose their fear of humans & they will attack us. Sad all around.

I would just keep looking around for people who may need dogs that are good people who will take care of them, should the dogs end up thrown outside.

The problem here is that exclusive villas are very expensive and only those who are high-salaried can afford them. If you are renting a villa here then no one can touch your dog or complain. The issue are the tenement housing and apartments in a compound that can easily hear each other. I already have rescued dogs and there was one recently which my husband saw at a park that was clearly abandoned. He was very sweet and also loved my cats. Fortunately I managed to find him a home. But finding homes for dogs are much harder than cats. I often see those that have breed here aimlessly running around and clearly "discarded". I had an officemate before who told me that in order for them to take a vacation someplace else, they had no choice but to let loose their German Sheperd. and their persian cat, instead of finding a temporary pet sitter. I was too aghast to even talk, and from then on refused to talk to this person ever again. But I made it clear to him that I wanted to punch him at the nose.

You should put a complaint in with the Building manager or owner. Perhaps if there are other having issue with these neighbors and their kids, you all could go and complain about how loud, distespectful, and out of control they are. I think you mentioned loud parties, making noises outside your apartment (Flat), and their children outside in the early morning hours.

I already complained, but just yesterday there was another party. I am looking for another flat, but it is difficult to find a similar flat like I have now. We are currently renting a flat with 2 mini-terraces, one of which was converted into a catio which Bourbon needs as she has asthma.

I do not know why the tenants at the compound complain more about animals who have no place to go if abandoned, than unruly humans. I just have to watch out for dogs hanging outside soon and see what I can do. But so far I still hear barking dogs, and one of the owners refused to dispose of his dog, insisting that his dog is not bothering anyone. I agree.

Yes they are sweet animals. Most dogs that bite are just threatened or have very bad experience with human. I have four of mine and they are the love of my life too.

Thank you for your thoughts prayers. It is a type of fracture she got. No surgery, but lots of PT. It will take 3 or more months to heal from this. My siblings are in the hospital with her. Well that is about it for now.
