neely So glad to hear that your area was spared from the tornados and floods. Some downed branches is much better than down trees. Hurricane Sandy did a lot of damage in the NY/NJ region; but the remenents of Hurricane Ida last year came with record breaking rain accumulations. In no time almost all of my basement got badly flooded. I never seen anything like it and hope to never see that again. Glad you weren't affected by that storm system either @Lari.
tarasgirl06 I hope so too, otherwise it would be bad for the kittens. I think he should work with rescuers who know what they are doing. Vet references are crucial. Also, checking animal abuse registries. Some states have them, otherwise do a criminal backround. Just those few things and a adoption fee may keep the sickies away.

Jcatbird I love all the pics of the kitties, geese, clouds, and sunset. Hmmm, Accuma lota smiles, never heard of those clouds before, but if they bring a smile to your face than the name suits them. Glad you liked the cloud pics and video I posted. Yes, clouds are indeed fascinating.

Hope everyone is doing okay. For those dealing with set backs and /or Customer Services HellI hope the set backs is one that can be remedied quickly enough and for those dealing with a CS nightmare, I hope you can finally get your problem taking care of. I have been there and it is very frustrating and could drive you crazy. Hang tough and never give an inch till you get your problem resolved. I think that's what they want, so they can keep over billing you or doing other nonsense.

I hope that those in the path of the nasty weather keep an eye on the sky and stay safe. We are supposed to get a taste of it tomorrow, but nothing serious in our immediate area is forecast.
There is nothing new to report on the remodeling front, except that the new tub has arrived at the plumbing dealer's, where our contractor will pick it up. He gets to remove the old one, too. Better him than me.

I miss the days of Ex #3 and I going to LAX and watching the planets take off and land, listening to the control tower on his radio, and even -- yes, you heard it here! -- eating fresh donuts and drinking good coffee from a shop close to the airport. Of course that all stopped when so many other good things did, too.

You don't know how much I would LOVE to see planets taking off and landing. I could so happily live in the Star Trek world. I love typos too.

Thank you, the storm has passed and a tornado did not touch down in our area. It rained buckets with high winds but we are safe and sound.

Glad no tornado. My brother and sister in law are visiting from the Midwest and at their home were supposed to have 80mph winds night before last. But it wasn't as bad as that.

I hope you have been able to get what you need! I share your frustration. I have not gone to sleep while on hold….. yet. It could happen.If it does, Mackie will have plenty to say to them!

rubysmama I have cooled and eaten a meal while on hold! Maybe they stopped my 1-800 calls because they know I will remain on hold because I ….. never give up! I now prepare for being on hold. Pen and paper, lists, food, water and cat in the lap for calming effect.
I have also fed the cats snd cleaned the litter boxes while on hold! If I am within driving distance of the company that puts me on hold, look out! I am now at your door or sitting in your waiting room!

The storm came and left. I had hoped to see the Strawberry super moon but too much cloud cover
I have never been able to keep dianthus alive long here. They steam to death. The Sea Holly is so neat! Of course I love the Clematis and day lilies too!
I can grown those here and the Clematis is doing a lot of growing this year. Many of my flowers are not growing in the steam this year. I can’t blame them either! Thanks for sharing your flowers! At least I am see other gardens this year!

Heh! There are times when I post and get interrupted and lose part of a sentence if I skip down to where I had last typed before my phone sleeps. I lost (plus typo) wet down the concrete. The way the sentence was left it looks lie I was saying I wet down the butterfly. I actually wet down the concrete! Lolololol

I may be tied up this week going back and forth to communicate with various vets and specialists. If I am absent, please know that I am trying to share information in the hope that it may help another cat and another cat guardian as well as covering every possible thing I can for Banjo.
The vet sent the meds for Banjo in a sealed box. Inside the box was a toy too! Lol It’s for a good girl who takes her medicine! Cat people are great people. As everyone here

All the Customer Service hooey has certainly taken some moments off all our lives. But I had some business to transact this morning with one of my banks and it was a true pleasure. The reps were knowledgeable, polite, professional, erudite, and wow! They dealt with the matters at hand very successfully! May I recommend, to feral and rescued cats and their carers everywhere, UBS Bank.

I know, I know; it's not their fault that I have significant hearing loss, and I try to explain that to them, but for some it seems to go in one ear and out the other.

Jcatbird I just came from the thread you put up for Banjo. So happy she got negative test for FEVL and FIV. I hope she takes to the new meds and their is no complications. I know it will be shaky in the beginning especially that critical 4 hour period after taking the meds where you have to watch her carefully. Hang in there. I hope your treatment plan for all the other kitties works as well. Banjo looks so precious playing with her new toy that she got from the vet. She is a happy kitty. Well, take care. I know you have a lot going on.

Good grief, she's hearing me think! I JUST thought, "Hek's sound asleep, I could get her medicine in her ear now," and she SHOT up and went under the bed.
