She's a lovely, funny, awesome cat! I love her so much and I really couldn't have asked for a better first cat.

You Are super! I survived the dentist but ironically had a collision with a hand truck before coming home. Right to the side of my eye down to my jaw. Where I just had the tooth worked on. Ha! I nursed it through the storm only to get it smacked! I am icing my swelling and hoping for the best. Not allowed to go to sleep yet because of the risk of concussion. (Gonna whine here) I am really sleepy! Chores now. Kitties are happy! Nap later. Lol Happy kitties, Happy life! Thank you for the support! Back as I can.

if it ruined the work. There is something reassuring about having our dental work all nice and tidy. A fresh smile! I understand how you feel about that. I will know more over the next couple of days I guess. Maybe earlier. I am sure the kitties will take good care of me, If BJ can stop laughing. He has a feral sense of humor. I think he did have a bit of sympathy for me tonight. He gave a a funny look at first but then he allowed me to pet him. He is probably wondering if I got into a good old fashioned cat fight since that is his only frame of reference.

When you go to the dentist sometimes it FEELS like you lost a cat fight! LOL! It is never ending for me. I am on my third implant because my teeth are breaking off at the gum line under my crowns. I may have a fourth coming, all of a sudden a tooth on the other side is very painful and sensitive to hot and cold, GEEZ! I have enough money in my mouth that I could have bought a new car! at least the price has gone done, My first implant years ago was 4000. Now they are 2000. At least I can chew on a few teeth when I am old! BJ can sense that something is wrong/different about you, he is probably scared he is next!

Thanks for mentioning the price. I was just about to call around and get quotes. That's pretty steep! Yeah, those back molars don't last forever and when they start to go, it's really painful. I have 3 painful ones right now. Maybe I can get one done per year.
Do your kitties reach up with their paws when your pouring their food and try and get you to pour more? Some of mine do and sometimes they make me spill the food, greedy little cats. With the weather getting cooler in Houston, the kitties are demanding more cuddles. I don't mind.
Best day of my life was when I got dentures. I thought I'd HATE it, but it wasn't bad at all, and I can smile without feeling self-conscious for the first time in my life!

Yes, sometimes it does feel like you are on the losing end of a cat fight! Lol I too could have bought a new car, or two! I sympathize! My dental work yesterday wasn’t too bad though. The blow from the dolly was the real pain. I have yet to shake the headache and blurred vision but I am told it will pass. Luckily the kitties take good care of me. I woke up this morning surrounded by cats. I had to smile because I couldn’t move without scooting a kitty over. M maggiedemi I am so sorry you have tooth pain! I hope you can get that attended to very quickly. Implants are expensive. I find the costs varies depending on who I get to do the work. I have broken my lower jaw and had to get some bone replaced. That took more than one surgery. My dentist charged one price but the specialist I had to use later was much more. You might want to look into it before you need to do it.

My kitties do grab the bag when I am pouring the dry food. I have one cat, Mackie, who just serves himself though. He claws a hole in the bottom of the bag when I am not looking. I can’t count how many times I have picked up the bag only to have it pour out the bottom. Mackie always give me an innocent look. “It wasn’t me!” The other kitties take advantage of the spill immediately. Yay! Extra helpings for everyone! I’m just glad Mackie hasn’t learned how to open the cans yet! I just saw your post about the balloon. Funny you should mention that. Balloons and stars had a very special significance for Sarah. Very touching to me that you told me.
F FeralHearts Yep! Kitties are soooo funny. Even with the ouch I had to laugh. Never butt heads with a doll/hand truck. Especially after dental work! If you do, make sure the novacsine is still working.
I think my dental work survived but i’ve got a lovely shiner! ( black eye) Just in time for Halloween! I’ll dress up like a cat and look like I was really in a cat fight. I know BJ will approve.

BJ was a little more sympathetic today. He greeted me and after supper he escorted me part of the way to the back door. I guess he had his giggles yesterday. He didn’t snuggle me but he did lay near me to offer comfort for awhile. There was a nice breeze and we enjoyed each other’s company as the sun dropped. Very relaxing. I think BJ has a look of sympathy here. (That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Lol ) Could be a look of critisizm though!
He kept me company as I sat in the woods with him.
I caught a really sweet snuggle between Banjo and Whistle when they were laying down with me today. I had to share the kitty love with you all.
