Thank you strider rose for keeping everyone updated about Mamany1953 's progress. Still praying for her and for you as well. So sorry that you had a stroke years ago. That is a very scary thing to have gone through. What is happening to Mamany is very close to home for you. I can see how worried you. I wish you peace. HUGS.
That black tulip is SO gorgeous. We had a black calla lily here at one time; our gardener thought it was an ill omen and killed it. *NOT HAPPY*There is a new bloom here, as well. This tulip has been on pause for the last couple of weeks, what with the unfavorable weather. A couple of days of relative warmth and sun, and presto!View attachment 380542Also, Michele's English daisies continue to put on a showView attachment 380543
The funny thing is that I don't recall seeing that color in any of our flower beds before, and these 4 are in a place where we haven't planted any new bulbs in years. That black tulip is SO gorgeous. Bulb plants are weird that way. Since we've moved here, I see things come up that haven't bloomed before, too. It's nice. I thought my gardener also killed the blue larkspur that my dad loved. They didn't bloom for years. Lovely b(l)um...................We have a species of fuzzy Burdock in this area, too.
I'd love to see some, if you find them.I’ll see if I can dig up some of the silly cat drawings for you though.
Laughed at all those cute faces staring at you and giving you directions on how to clean their room. Looking forward to hearing about, and seeing pics of, the reunion with Thrasher. Fingers crossed it will be all hugs and kisses, and zero hisses. The cats have been directing my work.
