I have a new bloom
In the garden. My native Spider Lily is in flower. It grows in bogs or riversides. It’s a relative of Amaryllis. Smells nice too but I don’t want it around the kitties. I have it outside in a big bucket. The flowers are about the size of my hand.

Our smile tonight comes from a sweet and generous Whistle. Such a gentle kitty.

Not exactly fond of the name, but gorgeous flower!

BTW, loved seeing your paintings in the post with Whistle and the toys. You're so talented. Have you ever painted portraits of the cats?

WOW! Those look like wonderful 'nip toys, you guys and girls! I'm thinking there will be a LOT of biscuits being made shortly -- you might have to open the Chez Catbird Boulangerie!;)
Gorgeous blooms, of the colorful and soft, furry kind! My spider lily is a bit different, and hasn't bloomed for a couple of years. The folks we bought the Mojave place from left it and it didn't bloom there, but I brought it down here and it's bloomed a few times. It is so beautiful! I have it on the front verandah. It ususally blooms around the beginning of July and I'm hoping it will this year.
Those batteries don't have a reputation for leaking. That's the problem. People don't speak up enough when things are wrong. I do. Sorry to hear others have had similar experiences! Vote with your $$$, and maybe they'll do something about it?
PS Your paintings are amazing! Sarah looks like she will speak to us. Just beautiful!

There is a new bloom here, as well. This tulip has been on pause for the last couple of weeks, what with the unfavorable weather. A couple of days of relative warmth and sun, and presto!

Also, Michele's English daisies continue to put on a show
