Quarterly!Getting close to quarterly tax time again! Keepers it rolls back around quickly. The kitties were trying to help but most of them became terribly bored. Still, they kept me company.

, the kids in question had left home. That's what she was waiting for -- for them to be old enough to leave. I think there was domestic violence involved between her and her husband, though I'm not sure. That's what was hinted at, anyway. 
That reminded me of something that happened yesterday. I was sitting here at the computer, with a candy cane sticking out of my mouth. I guess the cellophane around it intrigued Ruby, because next thing I knew, she'd swatted the candy cane out of my mouth! Not sure if she ended up with sticky peppermint paws or not.I miss those days when baby Demi used to try to "help" me with everything. He would smack the pen out of my hand as I was writing, or pounce on my fingers as I was typing.

Tax time is always a pain! In just a couple of months it will be time to start the yearly stuff! Moan! Tons of paperwork then. It used to be worse though. Keeping track of inventory for the business always kicked off the new year.
Maybe next the kitties will dance! Happy tail dance? I wonder if Demi would chase your fingers if they had meat baby food on them?
I looked up "suar" after reading your post, not realizing you were referring to sugar.
I hope Ruby knocked the candy away carefully! Sometimes kitty advice is very good. It sounds like Ruby either wanted to share the candy or stop you from eating suar! Lol BUT knowing cats, I am guessing she wanted to own the candy. Kitties!

N NY cat man Tell Miss Eleanor we love her color. Don’t change it! Lol Banjo helped me paint the cat room a few months before I had to do those repairs. I came back to little paw prints across the floor but wasn’t sure which cat had signed their work. I had to check a lot of paws before I found the evidence. I should have known though because Banjo was giving me her innocent and ,”it wasn’t me” look. The hardest thing was the pursuit to get her in order to remove the paint. It was a great came of ,” you can’t catch me!”
There is a "suar". It's a rare wood. Not recommended for eating, unless you're a termite, possibly.

Yeah, I call Tar a loud-meowing cat, because she is. You'd be surprised -- or maybe not? -- that such volume of sound could issue forth from such a small cat. Sometimes she'll stand in the office and bellow because she's miffed that I'm not in there already, providing a lap. Or she'll stand in front of the bedroom door when I'm feeding Baby Su and trying to allow her some time before the onslaught of the Big Blue Food Inhaler a/k/a Elvis, and bellow for me to open HER door.
Very glad to hear that those kids got out. I’ve seen similar situations and it’s so sad!
Thank you about our happy home. You know, if a large Clowder purred and levitated us, it might be hard to get down. Kind of like ripples after you toss a pebble into water it could last for ever. You know.... in purrpetuity!

We’ll keep watching the frogs to see. So far the evidence seems to indicate they do turn into something wonderful. After Banjo repeatedly kissed Froggie I found this!

My favorite one is when spellcheck changes Clowder to Chowder. I think of a big bowl of kitty soup.
