M maggiedemi I think they liked being together too. They just didn’t want me to know. The looks on Lady’s face were so funny! I do think she made Muffin go into the carrier though. Muffin was very glad when I got her to come out. She came and snuggled me. Lol

rubysmama It does seem that my issues are resolved. I did have another episode but nothing like before. My only real issue now is visual. The smaller viewing area and some of the brighter coloring is cutting the time I can spend on site. Maybe time for another eye check too. Lol Thank you for asking!!

Hey everyone! It was mop day today! Uh oh! This is the quickest way to make cats vanish! Except , of course, for Purry. That little bit of Siamese in the background must be the reason because most of the cats hate mop day.

I got a couple of new flower pics today. The giant acronym is blooming again. The flowers are nearly the size of a plate. Froggie is guarding them tonight. Thank you Froggie!!

I also found the Argeratum I’m Sarahs’ Garden. I love the color.

This is how the kitties spent the evening!
Dolly?

Yep! He saw the broom coming. Lol Sorry Dolly. All the spilled treats are coming up!

Lol If he didn’t open his eyes, it would be really hard to tell! Hiding from the mop?

Mitsy! Awww. Going up? She left her bed to avoid moist paws.

The cat instincts are strong! Everyone go high! The mop is coming! I had to laugh at how many of the cats chose to get on the rubber mats. Very smart kitties are avoiding possible wet blankets.

Except Purry. Ready to chase the mop.

And he did! He has the cleanest paws in the house.

Poor little Wanda Heart is still on top of the dresser in the bedroom. I put her down after the floor dried but she didn’t trust it yet.

I’m heading in there with some treats to lure her down.

The other kitties.....
Whistle was the first one to enjoy the clean floor. Happy tail flying. He always loves a fresh floor. Lol

He and Thrasher lounged together immediately. Even laying down , Whistle maintains his Happy Tail!!

Bj and Kodiak came out for supper and Kodiak made sure to spill some dry food. I guess it just doesn’t look like a cat room without a little food on the floor. At least if someone (Dolly) decides to help out by eating it, it’s on a clean floor.

Demi is afraid of brooms. When he was a baby, I was sweeping the garage and he jumped on the broom to attack it and it sent him flying. He's been afraid of them ever since.

It's funny how cats pair off. I wonder which girl Demi would pick if he was there?

I had to laugh at how many of the cats chose to get on the rubber mats.

At our house, it's The Big Turquoise Monster that sends cats running for cover, although brooms aren't favorites, either, because I have had to use a broom to dislodge a cat from under the king-size bed when the painting crew was here and of course I did not want anyone to escape to the great outdoors!
Elvis is a great proponent of Dry Food On The Floor. I've subterfuged him somewhat by using the IKEA trays under their food dishes, but sometimes he manages to spill some outside. I'm vigilant about this because I do NOT want ants in here!
The flowers are gorgeous, especially the Giant Acronyms! They look a little like our Spider Lilies:

I brought them down from the Mojave, where they had never bloomed. The seller left them. I was astounded to see these amazing blooms!

I am on a limited income but have managed to rescue and rehome 32 cats. I ask everyone I meet if they know anyone who will give a fur ever home. The vet, the post man, the grocer, my doctor, nurse, tax preparer and contact every rescue group in this state and those nearby. I still have more to go but getting there.

These cats were being shot, burned, tortured and abuse. I gained their trust, started feeding them and one by one brought them in to calm them for adoption and vet care. It is a long and pricey process but some shelters offer discount vet services, spay/neuter and immunization. Go online. Network!

Many pet food and pet supply companies will send you coupons if you contact them. I called. DON'T give up. If you are a cat guardian you're a kitty hero! Try to get them homes. I am still trying to get some Savannah cats, a Blue Smoke, Calico, Marbled Tabby, Gold tabbies, Grey tabbies etc. adopted. I won't give up either. 32 have been saved I am amazed but it tells me the possibility to get all adopted is there. Don't give up! Kitty Kudos to you! Look around you. Someone you cross paths with is looking for a nice kitty. Maybe someone on this site!!!

Do not listen to negative comments. You are doing the right thing. If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem. I rarely have time to post but wanted to reply to all of you. Keep your chin up.
