N NY cat man You too?!?! Ouch. It is a real pain. Lol I am sure you know that it just takes time. My only wish is that litter boxes were up high! Table top would be nice. Yucky but nice. Thank you for the recovery wishes.

rubysmama There wasn’t time to be scared. It was quick. At the time I was doing exactly what the kitty in the first picture is doing! That totally cracked me up. The second picture makes me think of Wanda Heart. Vibes are still needed! Ouch. Thank you!

Buffster7 I did give the plumber a call this morning. No real reaction. Hopefully it was just that they didn’t want to admit responsibility in case of future issues. I can understand fear of liability these days. That’s okay as long as they are more careful. Tough? Well.... given a choice, I wouldn’t deal with any of this. Thank you though! It was kind of interesting that Muffin stepped on a good spot. Hmmmm. Wonder if she actually knew? Could be!

I made it through another day with the big owee! The kitties are such a great support system. If you know anyone who lives alone, has health issues or just needs a friend, a kitty can work wonders!

I got,” the look”. Lol

Then I was corrected and.....

Given a head warmer.

I was talking about getting in the tub ....

I could tell that idea concerned the kitties.

Bj got up and declared, “no tub allowed.”

He was eager to help though and made his intent clear.... he would assist me!

Thank you BJ but I think I’ll go for a shower.

The kitties are taking very good care of me.

Wanda Heart spoke her first words.
Awwww! No fear in her tone, just a baby needing a mom. She has the cutest little mewmew! I did pick her up and hold her close. She snuzzled into my neck and laid on my shoulder purring.

Actually, my mishap occurred at work several years ago, when I cracked 2 ribs. Still didn't miss any time, though. It hurt when I worked, and hurt when I was at home, but I didn't get paid at home, so I worked.

W walli She does seem to be feeling a bit better. Her tummy bloating is down and potty issues improved. I still have to get her rechecked though. If Joey had Coccidia then you know how hard it can be on young ones. She was just over 2 lbs. so she is little. Her ravenous hunger has diminished. I am hoping that she is just not needing as much and realizing that the food won’t vanish. She doesn’t have to gobble it up.

N NY cat man You worked with cracked ribs? Unh! You really do understand! I must keep going too. I think it might be helpful for me to keep moving though. It distracts me from the injury unless I really turn wrong. Then I am strongly reminded! I had to go to my GP today. The emergency clinic didn’t take enough X-rays to satisfy my doctor. They suggested I go for ultrasound too but after some discussion we agreed that if I needed that, the pain would be unbearable by now. The thought is that I probably bruised my lung and maybe more, possibly broke or fractured something else. It really doesn’t matter though. With these things we just have to give it time. One thing they told me today struck me funny though. If I sneeze, cough, laugh etc. I am supposed to brace my ribs in place with a pillow! The irony...... that made me laugh and I didn’t have a pillow with me.I guess I just need to tie a pillow around me for the duration. The cats would love that!

I think we are due for some smiles. I promised some cute pictures of Wanda Heart tonight so here she is. She is so precious!
rubysmama I don’t know how long Wanda Heart will be a part of this family but she looks lovely against green!

She is gaining confidence and comfortable looking me right in the eyes now.

It rained here this afternoon. A lovely cool breeze came through along with a beautifully sky. We are all hoping the breeze will carry kitten love to everyone.

Hi! We actually posted at the same time. I was writing about Wanda Heart. Lol Thanks for asking. It is a little rough if I lay on the spots that took the hardest hits. The muscles kind of spasm if I move wrong but the pain is always the worst the first couple of days. It should decline some each day. I really believe that staying active is very beneficial and I seem to have a good tolerance of pain from what my doc says. It’s awful to think that others might suffer from these things more. I am counting my blessings. I also have kitties that know how to make me feel good so twice , no, 27 times blessed.

Oh boy! Great news! We have another feral kitty rescuer. The story is just beginning but off to a wonderful start. @ciaostacia is asking for information about socializing a mom and baby that were caught tonight! Any support and encouragement here would be fantastic!

Hey everyone. We are back at the vet with Wanda Heart. She is holding out on me today. We needed a fecal and I could have sent it in for a recheck. Nope! Not since last night. We need ! I got worried so I came with her.

It’s easy to get adorable pictures of a sweetheart. Wanda Heart makes the photos, not me. You actually did hit on the range of motion thing right now. Very glad you enjoy the photos. I post them because I feel I should share all the kitty love. These faces make me melt every day.
