My cat’s left eye doesn’t glow in regular pics, but with flash, they both grow, but one is a little darker, but she can see in both eyes perfect. She’s 7 months old. It doesn’t seem to affect her. Also I haven’t been to a vet over this. Is that bad or ok? And anyone else’s have this?

In the first pic, a shadow fell across the eye that didn't glow. In the second, both eyes caught the flash. There has to be some kind of ambient light for a cat's eyes to glow.

Hi!
When you take your baby in for her next wellness checkup you could mention it :)

Have your vet take a look at it. It may be a cataract. My cat, Aoibhe, was diagnosed with congenital cataracts when she was a kitten. She can see ok but she will bob her head a little when she is trying to see, almost as if she's trying to see around the cataract. We decided against any surgery and the cataracts haven't caused her any problems in the last 8 years. We do have yearly trips to a specialist to make sure she doesn't develop glaucoma and she gets steroid drops twice a week.

She didn’t bob her head any time I looked at her, I will go to the vet eventually though!
