my cat keeps trying to choke herself!

My cat did this too a lot. Unfortunately, one night he did it and I was not around to stop it. I found him with his chin rested on a support beam attached to my new desk. He had passed away. Please watch your fur babies. I would never wish that pain upon anyone.

My cat does the same thing. When I work from home he chokes himself on my recycling box. I think it's for attention.

But then last night I heard him doing it when I wasn't in the room so I don't know. Very scary. Very weird.
