Murphy came to us with a terrible skin condition, malnourished, and nearly hairless. He was so scrawny We couldn't identify his gender. He was obviously someones someones pet that was tossed out. He was sweet and kind, He had no fear of people.. He just wanted to be touched and loved. He loved people even though it was obvious his original people didn't treat him right. My dad saw what no one else did and took him in.
He received the best medical care we could afford. Over time his fur grew back.
He was still very skinny. We discovered he had a severe allergy to Fleas.
SO He had 6 baths a week. Lucky for me Murphy has zero fear of water and GLADLY hopped in the shower every time ready for his bubble bath of medicated shampoo and Zymox.
6 months pass and every day Murphy looked a little better. It was during this time we discovered not only was Murphy A BOY but a FIXED boy!
Then A Handsome young man emerged!
Soon he started to put on some weight... ok A LOT of weight.
He now gets a monthly dose of Revolution to maintain his flea allergy. No more baths unless necessary.
Bathroom Quarantine is just a memory now.
