I am going to be making a long distance move in about a month from Colorado to Houston, TX. I am wondering what the best way to move my two cats with me, in a way that put the least amount of stress on them. I have taken them in the car to go to see the Vet and they don't appreciate the ride much. They get very frightened and cry the whole way. I recently took them on a 1 hour car trip and my youngest ones defecated in her carrier within about 45 minutes. The trip to Houston is about 20 hours in the car and I plan on stopping off at my sister's house halfway to stay for the night. Any suggestions? I really want to make the transition as smooth as possible for them, as they don't like their surroundings changed on them too much.
