Sorry is this redundant in a post.

But I am fostering a 9 mo kitty right now and of course now I want to adopt. But we have a resident kitty who is a senior. We move in a month. Horribly timing I know. Right now that are just smelling each other. Should I wait to introduce the cats until AFTER the move? Or try and introduce them at our current place?

Thank You!

I’m thinking that may be a good idea. Just emailed my vet for some input. I don’t mind waiting. Well have more space at the new place too. Plus the foster kitty has to be dewormed and I don’t really want them coexisting yet haha.

Met vet said I could start introducing them a bit. Maybe smell and sight but keep the main introduction at the new house. I may have to start over but the process could be quicker since they met this month. You never know until you try. The cats will tell me if they are not ready.
