More baby lettuce less hair balls

Hi, I wanted to share something I figured out by accident. Cats love baby lettuces! I had two lip eared rabbits in my house and when I rescued our Princess Midna. She would run over to the morning rabbit feeding bowls to see what I was putting down. She sniffed, licked and quickly ate all the rabbits baby lettuce. The rabbit wasn’t too happy with her, but we cleared it all up and everyone had lettuce for breakfast everyday thereafter . Please don’t feed iceberg lettuce to any ani Al’s including cats. It can cause diarrhea. Use green leaf, red leaf or mixed baby lettuces .
My cat now takes her morning lettuce with her claw and dips into her bowl of water and eats it all wet. Ever since she started this. She has had only 1-2 hair balls a year, if that. So it can hurt I imagine. It’s only made my cats healthier

Thanks for posting the above. I had never heard of cats eat lettuce but apparently its a good source of fiber and high in water.
