Mom's cat escaped while visiting our house, help!

Do you have a sturdy table on which to place the food? Raccoons climb VERY well but cannot jump up; a stable card table or plastic folding table (such as are used for yard sales) with no chairs/steps nearby work great. If you can put the table near a window which can be cracked open, Jet may decide to enter the house on his own.

FOUND AND CAPTURED!!!

We played hide and seek on the camera with him this evening, and he had no interest in coming to us when called, even when we knew he was within earshot. But just after 10:30 we heard the trap on the porch snap, and guess who was inside! He was awfully confused when we brought him in (and every creature in the house came to investigate the commotion), but once we let him out of the trap he was all purrs and leg rubs! He's had a full meal of wet food and is now re-exploring the house; He-Who-Is-Afraid-Of-His-Shadow has found a bit of independence while on walkabout! He better not ever do it again haha.
