We got a kitten from my sister and the mom is a pure white domestic cat. Our kitten was the only one this color and the rest were calico colored with one white.

.Is there any way to try and figure out what our kitten could be mixed with?

I’m sorry I’m of no help when it comes to breeds, etc but Mama is beautiful and so is your new kitten.
The baby and puppers are adorable too. 😊

Thank you, I wasn’t sure if they had to be mixed with something for the different colors. :)

Hi, to be colorpoint, there has to be Siamese or Burmese in the ancestry somewhere. So yes, she is a mix. Ragdolls are a breed that when created, in part used colorpoint cats.

Here, both papa and mama has the colorpoint gene, but themselves they arent colorpoint. In such a cases typically one of four kittens will be a point, the others non point.

Both are probably the siamese point gene. Kittens from mixed siamese and burmese point genes usually darkens up quickly on the whole body, not just on the pointed parts.
