Thanks, I'm glad he is feeling better this morning. Such a special boy I hate to think of him having any pain.

Trying to keep positive here, but that 4th tumor is worrisome

Poor Mickey that even the pain meds weren't helping him out
, but hopefully he really does feel better today.

that everything is going to turn out ok for our big boy

!!!!! Benign !!!!!

Mickey's tumors  are benign!

The vet said they should just keep a watch out for new ones. He has been declared completely healthy!

So glad to hear this. I've been following this thread since adopting a fat cat in June, though she was only half Mickey's weight! (She's small.) Yay Mickey! :)

I got to see Mickey today. He is recovering very well. I'm surprised at how long the incisions were given I was told the tumors were pretty small. I guess the vet wanted to make sure he got every bit of the tumors. The incisions are all on his left side and he laid down on that side while I was petting him so I think the pain most be mostly gone. He was walking around the house and being his cutie self!

He weights 17 lbs 8 oz now. That is 3 oz less than when he went to live with Charlie and Susan. They haven't been trying to get him to lose weight but have been giving him what we thought would probably be a maintenance number of calories. They were giving him a chance to get used to his new home before starting his weight loss program again. Now, of course, they want to give him a change to recover from the surgery before starting it.

Thank you all for your well wishes and healing vibes. They worked!
