Memorial Photos,to Celebrate our Love

I've had many cats over my 64 years and many have had an indelible impression on me, none more than what these two have had.
Boo (black one) and Junior (Grey one), Junior not only chose me but he also chose his own name.
In this picture, which makes me laugh every time I look at, I was always nervous with him getting up on this cabinet for fear of him falling and would take him down. This picture he is well just look at that smirk on his face. It's almost like he is saying "I'm up here again now what are you going to do about it". Boo was a majestic and proud kitty and it shows in this picture.

Just thinking about my Beloved Cheech,came across some photos of him with my granddaughter,Cheech was a one person guy and paid no one any mind but me except Hailey..... he'd allow some people a little pet but only ontop of his head or he'd quickly raise a paw" don't even try it" lol I could do anything with that boy,go anywhere with him - love of my life and I was his love
Yet Hailie could hold his foot or tail or pick him up,squeeze him with hugs n kisses just like I could.... I miss him terribly

I do hope my Cheech is with Ruby,they'd make one gorgeous pair -wouldn't they?
I can't find any pictures of my first cat, Anpu, but I have pix of my second and third cats, Countess (Right) and Gerta (Left). They're the whole reason why I have Puddles

, when I was born, our cat was 3. He let me dress him up 
and give him rides in a doll baby carriage 
. He always slept with me. He and I were bonded hearts.
Awww he's beautiful and Hallie looks so happy with "her" cat!

Lol.... when she got tired she'd call" Cheecha boy" to hold his foot, suck her thumb and off to sleepies.....

My girl Bellatrix LeGray. She was just a week past 17 when she crossed the rainbow bridge. She was with me through high school, moving to Arizona, my first job, and moving out to my first apartment. She also witnessed my adoption of the other 4 kitties, raising all of them, and my first serious boyfriend. She was a skittish kitty who would only come out for me. I miss her.

my kids never knew life without a cat. Your granddaughter looks like she was very gentle with him.
My mom grew up on a farm. Cats and kittens were her playmates as she was a lot younger then her siblings. She used to dress them up as well. Izzy would not have been up for that.
I would never let anyone put clothes on a cat now! but back then, being an ignorant small kid, I did this. I was very gentle with him, and he was even more gentle with me. My parents called him a saint. He was.
I know! I use to look at mom and shake my head.I told her you are lucky you didn't get hurt. They had no problem with it she said........or really mellow cats.
Well, like the sign that says something about not minding the dog, in my case, if anyone tried putting clothes on a cat in my presence, they'd have to deal with ME.

I wish I could find the photos,probably in an old phone gallery( but which one ? )
They make so many adorable harnesses that are both darling and comfortable for cats ,especially for working cats like my Cheech who spent a big part of the day wearing one ....I had a tuxedo harness ( that had a tuxedo printed on it and he had a little bowtie collar)- he also had a Raiders Football harness and a Pompano RaceTrack Logo harness ( where we worked alot) and his " scrubs' with a printed stethoscope for our hospital visits
No clothes for my cats but they've got some really cute harnesses
I've gotta find these pics somehow- many great memories
I've enjoyed everyone's photos to pay tribute to our very special loves..
Even collars now, there are some really cute ones. The last ones I bought also held up super well. Izzy's current one is pink with butterflies. Tino had one that was turquoise with seahorses.

I forgot all about this thread and that I had posted awhile ago but Carleton was still with us at the time. He passed away 7 weeks ago so I thought I'd post a pic or two of my truly special and adoring Persian boy that we rescued from unmentionable circumstances.
