I wonder if some members do not indicate their locations because they forget and not because they prefer not to do so. It seems to me that sometimes knowing members' locations would facilitate understanding of a situation or language expressions and realize the difference in hours when sending or expecting a reply Any opinions?

I think it's probably a mix of both. I agree with you. It's helpful to at least have an idea of where someone is if they are looking for food recommendations or the location of a low/no cost spay/neuter place. Time difference is a good reason too.

Good idea. Yesterday a member asked where they could buy litter online so I had to ask where they were first then say I couldn't help when they replied because of their location. It only needs to be basic info ie. country or maybe state in the US.
