Happy three years, Lazlo!!!!! Every day is a blessing and a joy. :heart2:
WOO HOO, LAZLO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You GO BOY !!!!!!!!!

This is genuinely beyond all doubt and question a HUGE milestone and I am marveling in the great success of his remission thus far !!! Isn't is incredible how time flies too?! Each day, YES, is absolutely a gift and a blessing. Lazlo was your FIRST indoor kitty too and is a very, very special boy. He knows it and wants to stick around to enjoy this wonderful life with you, Gary and his siblings. He obviously is thoroughly enjoying each and every day too - in his NEW BIG HOUSE !!!!!!!!! Wow - what a journey these past three years have been and I am hoping for many, many, many more days of joy, blessings and kitty fun for this little man. :cross: :vibes: :cross: :rub: :cross: :heart3:  :high5: :cross: :sun: :D

PS. He is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO handsome and dapper. I adore that picture.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Diagnosed the end of July, 2011, Lazlo was given four weeks to live without treatment. He went into remission - and stayed there. :) :heart2:

But Lazlo's story has drawn to a close. On December 7, 2015, Lazlo was called home. It wasn't a return of that cancer. We don't know what it was. He died of pneumonia, but only because he was slowly fading away, having lost almost three pounds in three months despite my assist feeding him. Obviously we suspect there was a cancer we couldn't find. And being SUCH a good boy, we surely did everything we could to find what was stealing all his calories from him.

Lazlo, you were our first, and you paved the way for so many to benefit from the love of cats you fostered in us. :heart2:

And that he did................ :touch: :rbheart: :touch:

I love that photo of Laz in your avatar. The face of a little angel, a little fighter through thick and thin and love giver throughout his whole life. A gift he gave many of us - Love and Courage, for sure.

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Im SO sorry to hear about Lazlo. My heart goes out to you. I lost my boy Lawny on Feb 1 2015. I still miss him every day. In fact, what brought me back to this site was my curiousity about how Leukeran affects kitties. I saw a post of yours noting a comment about Leukeran, but that your Lazlo responded well to radiation. I must admit, I felt a bit envious that you went with Radiation as I feel if I had better guidance by my Specialist and the Hospital we too would/should have tried radiation. I then looked at follow-up posts by you and found that your Lazlo had recently passed. I'm SO very sorry for your loss! Time helps, but it amazes me how much I still miss my fur baby (all of his stuff is still out, just as when he left). Call me a sentimental fool, but I still have no desire to put his things away. RIP Lazlo... I know you will be missed. *tear*
(A friend sent me this image after my boy passed... it pretty much sums things up).
