Yikes!! another!! how do you handle ferals? I had a semi-feral and could not handle him.. he attacked too much.. I mean attacking with latching on with all 4 paws--claws into skin, and biting at the same time. I would move my leg or arm to get him off, and he would get off.. I would walk with him attached to me... if I got him off.. he came back repeatedly for more attacks.. It was a 'kill' instinct.-- not play...Any new pics of The Gorgeous One? We've got a new feral. --Yeah it's getting ridiculous. I think all these ferals are showing up since the Amish moved in. New kitty #7 will be named Bronwen, a British name since she looks like a gray British shorthair. The cats actually discipline each other. They are even helping to tame Demi after all these years! So it's working out in some ways. Litter is insanely expensive though!
Amazingly, she's left the bears where they are, which is surprising as she is one to carry things off in her mouth.
I read once that cats sometimes get along better when there's more of them, rather than less, so maybe that's what's happening with your growing clowder.

Maybe she's checking to see if the tree is made of catnip.
We had a couple of taste tests of the tree this year too. You can get some bitter spray if need be! Some gentle reminders here seems to have worked. Cal keeps fluffing the tree but some battles aren't worth it lol.We decided to try putting up the mini Christmas tree.
