Meet Omen Ink, the Polydactyl Kitty

Omen and Puddles actually CUDDLED today! Omen parked himself on the keyboard (again) and a few minutes later this picture happened:

This is becoming a much more common scene between Puddles and Omen

I can't remember where it was asked, but someone was wondering if Omen was bald on his ears because he's so, well, PINK! He's a weird mix of short, fine hair that shows his skin, but is also that lovely flame point on the tips of his fur, which appears to bring out his pinkness. Each of my cats has qualities I adore.. even if my dog tries to 'eat' Omen, LOL!

Omen gets neutered today! It's going to take me 3 buses to get out to the vet, but he's worth it Wish us luck!

Omen is home! He's still up to his mischievous misdeeds despite being zoned out on anesthesia, but the dog knows something is up. Omen cuddled up against the two of us when I laid down for a sleep ( I'd been up since 3 am and it was after 7 pm!) and is currently purrrring away in my workspace as I type. Poor kid.

Vet said he has mild gingivitis, which is probably due to his baby teeth being lost. Said there was nothing to be worried about. And because he's a Polydactyl, I'm going to have to watch his nails and trim them a bit shorter. Omen is gonna LOVE that! **DRipping sarcasm** He's vaccinated, registered through the city's cat licensing program, and officially is an it! It feels good having adulted!
