Hi guys,

I'm a new owner of a 13,5 week Russian Blue. I'm browsing around to learn about how to navigate through cat ownership as this is my first cat. I'm very happy with him. I made a video of hist first week at home:

If you have any tips for a new kitten/cat owner I'm open to any tips.

Here are some pictures:

Hello!
Welcome to the forum! :welcomesign:
He is so cute! Is he a pure Russian Blue or a mix?
On the first picture of the 4, where he is sleeping on the computer, is it him? I see the cat has a white patch on its nose but he doesn't seem to have any in other pictures.

Make sure that you still have time for him when coronavirus is over, kittens need a lot of socialising, I hope everything goes well! If you have any questions feel free to ask. 🙂

Hi

Yes it's a him. He's a pureblood/pedigree Russian Blue. Cost me an arm and a leg :p, but I'm happy. Yeah, I'll have to see how my job will change as I can do my job from home. We will have to go to the office at some point int time, but due to 1,5 meter distancing, going to the office will be a part time thing. I have promised myself to get him a companion If i see he's lonely.

Hi.
Haha, yep, burebreeds can be pricey, but they are so rewarding (like all cats and kittens really) 🙂
Feel free to ask any questions on this forum if you need any help.

OH MY! What is his name? My first "real" cat, the one I actually remember, was a Russian Blue, so this really took me back. I hope you have a wonderful, long life with him, as I did with my Gray (uninspired, I know, but I was in first grade, and his actual name was A. T. Kittycat Thomson Elliott, Jr., and Dad just couldn't...).

A AshwinR my computer translates that to "spring onion", or is there a better translation? It really just sounds so cute! 🌷 :silver: :)❤
Hahahaha 😄, I choose the name because I like how it sounded. I didn't really go for the meaning to be honest. I wanted a short name and as I like Japan, I wanted a Japanese name.
