I am reading various places to give cats "meaty bones" to help with dental.

What's considered "meaty bones"? raw chicken? something else?

:yeah:

Even chunks of raw meat can be helpful for dental health and also gives a cat's jaw a workout.

My boys love chewing on the wingtips of chicken wings. They'll eat it bone and all. But they're messy, so if you feed your cats meaty bones, maybe seclude them in an easy to clean area. I toss the wingtip in the bath tub and supervise with the bathroom door closed so they can't drag the raw meat everywhere.

Also, good to note that you should NEVER feed cooked bones to your cats. They can splinter, as they're much more fragile, and injure your cat. Raw bones only!

The sites were not specific when they said "raw meaty bones". Just wanted to make sure what was good :) He'll be getting raw meat next week after my trip
