If anyone gets a meal delivery service, particular the ones you just heat and eat, how seasoned everything is. I would like to try one but I have issues with many seasonings and it seems everything is loaded with garlic these days. My husband doesnt like really heavily seasoned either. Thanks.

I've done Factor and really liked it. It helped me to eat more veggies. I wasn't a fan of any of the Mexican or Tex-Mex foods though because they added way too much chili powder and it just tasted bad. It wasn't spicy, just gross.

My sister got that for awhile. She also has issues with garlic and such and said there wasn't much she could eat. She gave a lot of them to a friend (who eats anything)

I am going to begin receiving meals in a few weeks, same place as last time. They were
really good. Global Meals
Thank you. I just looked at the web site. Sounds a bit like meals on wheels where you get a selection of whatever they decide to send you?

I have not seen any that were that simple. Most just give you the ingredients and instructions on how to prepare it. Too much work for me.
Some do that, some also have meals you just heat and eat. Even the ones that give you the ingredients season their meats before sending them. And honestly, I don't really want to get fresh meats shipped to me. And I agree, too much work for me. I'm not a fan of gourmet food.

That's another thing I don't like. How fresh is the meat when you receive the box? I assume they are packed in ice but how long will it last?

My neighbors down the hall order from several of these services. It's not uncommon to see a box sitting in the lobby with their name on it. The box will sit there until the husband comes home from work. That means it could have sat there for 2 or maybe 8 hours.

I agree. They are packed in cold packs in coolers but I would not want to have a box sitting out all day. And who knows what conditions are like in the trucks that deliver them.
