I want to make raw food for our cat.
Am going to Alnutrin supplements which according to their instruction no need to add bones to the food prep.
But noticed the fish oil is missing.
Saw YouTube where owners add fish oil to the food. So is fish oil importent?
Is it missing from the supplement?
Also jut chicken thigh, heart and liver sufficient?
Chicken gizzard not really needed right...

Chicken gizzard is good for cleaning teeth, to an extent, especially in recipes lacking bone. It’s also more budget than thigh, and less fatty. Fish oil provides omega 3 & 6. I use Nordic Naturals’ Omega 3 for small pets. For an average sized cat all you need, long term, is 1mL once a week, or 0.5mL twice a week.

2765gmof meat plus 218gm of liver is what indicated on the supplement.
The YouTuber is using 2365hm of meat, 400gn of chicken heart and 85gm of liver.
So how do I substitute glizzard in?
I reduce the meat portion?

Gizzard is muscle meat, yes.

So how much glizzard will that be to the whole diet to be swapped with the thigh meat?
She eats around 120gms per meal which is 240gms per day.
2yr bengal retired Queen.
Calculated the amount of raw food can last 10-12 days.

Personally, I don’t feed any traditional muscle meat (I use hearts and gizzards), but I also don’t use a meal completer so I feed more organ meat than just liver as well as edible bone. Ultimately it’s up to you how much you want to add, if any.

I am confused on the feeding amount.
Bengal female, 2 yrs at 4-4.2kg.
Breedrr says she feeds 120gms per meal.
So per day is 240gms.
But in raw food calculators on line, the per day consumption total os only at 160gms.
So is the breeder over feeding the cat?

No — she may need more calories, especially as she was intact until recently. Bengals are a really active cat breed, so it could easily be that she needs the calories. I feed my 2 year old 6kg MC 250 grams a day, and she’s a bit bony, as 200, which I was feeding earlier and is closer to the recommended amount for her weight, was too little for her with her activity and metabolism.

Since she has been spayed now, do I maintain the same 240gm of raw food per day or cut back? Even can food or dry food feed instructions are lesser that what she is taking now.
Her pictures attached to gauge her size

She’s tiny for a Bengal, and looks like she could be underweight. I’d consult with a vet re: her condition before considering reducing her portion sizes, personally.

the pre packed raw food from the breeder is finishing soon.
gonna make my own food.
the alnutrin is meant for boneless so I will use chicken thigh, hearts, liver and gizzard.
but gizzard has bones?
are bones really required?
read the raw food links and most include the bones.
2yr at 4kg weight female.

If the altrunin is for boneless raw, you shouldn’t add bone, no.

Gizzards are muscle meat. They’re chicken or turkey stomach, depending on the type you were looking at.

If the supplement pre pack already has taurine, then do is still need to add the chicken hearts?
Will just chicken breast, gizzard and liver be enough?
