Evie update:
The original abscess is gone, but now the tip of her chin is swollen and this time it's bothering her (she doesn't like us touching it). Her lymph node continues to be swollen. I'm making an appointment with her for next Friday. She is still acting herself, but of course my mind goes to the worst possibility (mouth cancer). She is quite young (only 3 years) and has no other symptoms of oral cancer (drooling, hard time eating, stopped grooming, weight loss, hiding), but I can't kick it out of my head. That lymph node is just so concerning to me.
She has been on antibiotics since Tuesday and has a three day course of anti-inflammatory meds. She hates taking her antibiotics.
