Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. My husband and I recently adopted a kitten who has already been spayed, though I was told she'd been spayed recently when we got her on the 17th. For the most part she seems like a cuddly little kitten but today I inspected her incision site and it's very red. I'll try to attach a picture. It's been so long since I've had a kitten that I am unsure what the healing process looks like/ if I should try to find an open vet near me.

I'd suggest yes, and ask them if you can send in this photo - that's more red and ouchy looking than I personally like to see.
Looks like one of the stitches came undone. Needs a vet check.
