Hi everyone,

I recently adopted little Hades, who is almost months old. Can you help me figure out what breed he is? He is fully brown, nose and paws included. Eyes seemed hazel-ish at first but are slowly turning green. Playful and very friendly. Any ideas?

Without papers, I figure he's a domestic longhair cat. Cats from a shelter generally don't come with any papers.

He may look brown, but I think he's wearing a "rusted" black coat, where the sun fades his coat somewhat. He may darken up a bit over the winter. Cute little guy!

I think I see faint striping on one of his legs and a very faint M on his forehead. It's quite common for solid color cats to have some faint stripes. They may or may not fade.

Agree. He may possibly had a persian among his ancestor, probably a doll face persian. But we will see more when he is older. Many kittens have a teddy bear looks, but develops in part differently as older.
