What is CareCredit? | CareCredit
I completely get that you are overwhelmed with all that is happening. Basically, CareCredit has a promotional rate of a certain number of months (options are given) and the objective is to pay it off during that time.
How Does a CareCredit Healthcare Credit Card Work?.
There is a lot more info online, including videos.

As for pet insurance, you are correct that this pre existing condition will not be covered. If you chose to take out insurance, any future condition as of yet not diagnosed would be covered.

You may get a lot further with a specialist. Have as many records as you can with you, including anecdotal evidence. Any records of treatment at another clinic have to be given to you upon request, and in a timely manner. They are your property and as such have to be handed over.

I'm so sorry to read that Jasper is still having such serious issues. I hope when you see the internal medicine specialist vet they will be able to figure out what's causing Jasper's troubles, and prescribe a treatment that will help. Good luck.
Thank you so much. I really hope they will be able to help him too.

Thank you, I really appreciate the links you shared and I will look into them.
I got the records from his past clinics and they are also being sent to the specialist. I am very hopeful that they will be able to figure out what is wrong. Thank you again for your help and kind words :redheartpump:

Thank you all for the well wishes. Jasper is at the specialist now getting an ultrasound and some tests done. The vet was very kind, informative, and knowledgeable, so I am very hopeful she will be able to help. I will update you guys once she has finished the ultrasound, but she currently has a few theories and needs to see the ultrasound and lab work results to pinpoint the issue.

Here is the report from the vet. We are waiting on some test results to come back, but the ultrasound was informative, showing that the issue is mostly in his colon. I am very glad we finally know where in his GI tract the issue is. I am still feeling overwhelmed and stressed, but hopeful that Jasper will begin to feel better under the care of the specialist.

The report seemed logical and well thought out. Remember that he is not going to have everything that was mentioned and this sounds hopeful.

His labs came back negative for histoplasmosis and tritrichomonas. The specialist wants him to try a novel protein diet with psyllium husk supplementation for a while to see if it's IBS and will clear up with dietary interventions. If not, we will have to proceed with a colonoscopy and a biopsy.

It is good to start with the diet and supplement. At least the doctor is giving this a chance to resolve itself before you proceed to diagnostics.
