True.
When I was much younger my Mama and I used to argue a lot when she was with us for a visit - from how to discipline my child or just about simple things. She would pack her bags and return to our home province everytime we had an argument. Now she is 95 years old, and is permanently living in my house. Since I work abroad I get to see her only once a year, but each time, I make sure that I'd be the one to change her diapers, spoon feed her, or just lay beside her in her bed. I wish I could take back all those horrible things I said to her before, and even at my age now I know I am still not ready to lose a parent. Every time I say my goodbyes to her to return to work overseas, I am always afraid it would be the last time I'd see her - and I would cry uncontrollably on my way to the airport.

We get to take for granted many things, and that includes the love of our parents. :(
