Please try to understand that it is not possible to be both sides of the door at the same time. Not even for a Super Hero such as yourself. And yes, we do have to keep the door closed because your younger "brother" and "sister" only want to come into this room so they can destroy my plants.

Dear Puddles, my darling overlord,
I understand that as you've become more comfortable around me, you've come to survey the computer and the keyboard as part of your domain. However, it is incredibly difficult to type when ordering your food and seeing through you when you park yourself in front of the computer screen to chase the mouse on the monitor. I cannot see through cat hair, as plush as your fur is. Plus the dog gets jealous when you demand scritches, as she thinks she is still Queen of the apartment. We all know otherwise.
