Reading, phone games, walking my backyard, something artsy-craftsy even if I'm not technically "good" at it. That's all the stuff I'll admit to today. I promise everything I've tried is and has been 100% legal. No law changes required.
Reading, having a tasty beverage, spend time with animals, cuddling with BF, going for a walk or a hike, try and do things like breathing exercises and not overthink things, planting/gardening.
For the past couple of years also been getting massages from RMT.
Slamming the tennis ball over and over at the backboard at the courts. It has a net line so it also helps my game somewhat.
Then coming home/shower/chill on the couch. That way I'm relaxed enough to think things through and pray.
If I feel a panic attack coming, I do meditation until I feel the panic subsiding. When I'm just stressed out, I usually just disconnect from work (it's almost always work related) and veg out in front of the TV, play some phone games, do crossword puzzles, or read fanfiction.
