I've got a young kitten, 5 weeks old listed as domestic short hair from a shelter. However I've not seen a kitten quite like this. He has grey fur all over, grey eyes, big wide paws for such a young kitten. He about 2lbs is weight. He just stopped eating from a bottle. I'm curious if he's mixed with a specific breed. Very playful, gentle and curious.

Some here will tell you that hehas no specific breed, that he's a Domestic Shorthair like 95-97% of the cats out there. My own opinion? He's way too young to really know. In any case, it's already clear that he's going to be a handsome fellow!
As far as the paws and weight, that's not unusual. Pantera was unusually heavy for her size as a kitten and even today is more robust that other cats from around here. His size and weight are a good sign: it means he will almost certainly be a big boy

Looks like a standard kitten to me, nothing really unusual. He's a cutie.

I think it is too soon to tell too, most likely he is a dsh, but he is going to be a stunner obviously whatever he is

He is very original looking which is why I wondered if he was mixed. Regardless he's a really nice kitten. Think he's right around 7 weeks now.He is gorgeous, what an all round gray guy
