She's SO cute!!! :hearthrob:
Another ten minutes down the road she starts talking again.

“Nope! You had two stops. Now we need to finish before rush hour starts.”

I get her inside at home and put down a plate.

“Nom nom nom nom!”

And now that we’re home, I finally get a bathroom break! Whew!

This is Krista’s “diaper bag.” We have her timed feeders, grooming wipes, a towel, enzyme cleaner, a portable wet vac, a hand broom and scoop, poop bags, non-ammonia wipes, and a grooming brush. 😹😻

Not pictured is two litter boxes, a litter genie, a portable dry vac (my trunk Dyson because I love my Bissells), a cardboard scratcher “tree” that takes down to something small enough to leave in my trunk, the wire brush arch furniture from last night’s video that also takes down to trunk clutter, and at least one wand toy and one laser pointer. And her iPod that I have her cat rock on—that I only ever use for her cat rock, for vet visits. It is her iPod. She might be spoiled. 😹😻

I joke with the drs and vet staff that she may be their only client who comes with her own soundtrack. 😹

*As she well and truly deserves.* We have cat classical on here from the time I wake up until evening, when we watch TV. We like the nature programs, PBS, and true crime.

I have a smart home setup. A 9am alarm turns out the lights, turns off the tv, and puts her cat rock (Music For Cats) on the soundbar. I have another smart speaker in the office that plays her cat rock all the time. Lately she’s been enjoying the office tree and it gives her an option besides me and my murder porn at night.

One good poop. Then a couple of softies. We almost had poop stability. My guess? The car ride, the travel day--a little bit of irregularity in her routines became an irregularity in her gut.

She had a great poop today. And then she had pudding. And after chasing her back to poop jail, she finished with a kiss. Luckily she has a tell when she's about to bomb the carpet. She starts sniffing for her target and then scratches at the carpet to prepare it. Although, it's probably a good idea just to chase her into poop jail at the first sign of pudding until all boxes and butts have been cleaned.

The Mirtaz seems to be working well at 1" every other day instead of 1.5" every day. She's still taking her s. boulardii and I mixed in a smidgen of the dirt (her other probiotic.) If her butt would simply catch up to her gut, I might actually be able to feed her enough to sustain herself. I wish I had kept track of her calories at the start of this year. Her post-hospitalization recovery was a long one. It would have been nice to have notes from it to know what I can expect again. For now, I'll have to go by daily calories (or weekly calories) and her Monday weigh-ins. If we haven't stopped the weight loss, it should be slowing.

I’ve been burying a smaller loading dose (I call it a loading dose because she’s getting a smaller amount more often rather than waiting for a twice a day dosing schedule) of her soil-based probiotic (what I call “the dirt”) beneath her beloved ‘boulardii. And in return, she gave me a perfect poop. As perfect as I could tell anyway. It was so low odor, she stuck around and buried it well. She may very well have pudding poops later. But for now, I can rejoice at the taproom until the dinners.

I'd say the Mirtaz is working out well.

She was so adorable and persistent on the countertop with me herding me to hurry up with the meal prep.

After plating her meal, I hid out in the kitchen while she made her way through as much as she was going to on first pass. Then she sought me out in the kitchen and we played some in the home office. She's so smart! Daddy is in the kitchen and the toys are in the office. She's getting more spirited in her play.

And in less than 30 minutes since plating it, she is done with first dinner. I'm guessing she'll be getting a tweener before second dinner.
