What a lovely kitty! I would describe him as a blue Domestic Shorthair. You could also call him a Maltese cat. I think that Russian Blue is a closer breed lookalike, because he has a medium wedge shaped head and wide ear set.

Most cats are not of any heritage or breed, they are just domestic short or long hair. Plus both those breeds are fairly rare. Unless you are in Russia or Thailand I suppose ;)

To be honest Russian blue arent terribly common in Russia either. Their ancestors dont have any immediate connection with contemporary RB.
So the RB there are essentially breeder raised as everywhere else.

I presume original korats are relatively more common in Thailand although surely not very common either.
