We adopted 2 kittens....actually, we fostered them and became 'foster fails'. We also have a 3 year grumpy resident cat.
While fostering, they had their own litter, in their own room. Toward the end we opened the room to allow them to socialize and my resident cat would always go in there to use their litter. After adopting them, we noticed the kittens also used our resident litter boxes and slowly got rid of their litter box. We've had them about 2 months. We have 2 very large litter boxes with covers. And have now noticed poop on the mat outside of the box. What is going on? Help!
