I always imagine the shock that they feel when they have given up hope and basically are waiting to die and then someone suddenly presents them with a can of food.

I wish the news stations and local papers would cover more stuff like this. People need to be bombarded with the fact that there are still good people in this world, and it will inspire them to do the same.
Whoever this person is, I'm sure glad they took a few moments to care about these little lives.

I wish we could find out who the darlings were that left these kittens to die.

I would recommend two types of punishment.
1. Plaster their names and faces on all forms of media.
2. Put them in the wilderness with no food or fresh water and then check on them in a few days.
