Hello everyone,

First of all I'd like to thank the creators of the site for bringing such amazing community together.

I found two kittens in my storeroom, I waited for like 2-3 days but they didn't stop meowing so I took a look at them.
The kittens were not cleaned by the mother, my suspicion is their mother either left them.

I took them to vet, the vet cleaned the kittens but they got eye infection (both kittens).
I got the eye drop and it's been second day after been to vet but the second kitten hasn't opened her eyes yet, it's been more than 10 days.

I'm cleaning the kitten's eyes with cotton gently as directed by vet but I'm really worried about it.
The other kitten is active but this on stays at one place after I put her down after feeding her.

Is that normal for a kitten?

Thanks.

Some pic could be useful, so we see how old they are.

Proceed to describe how you are doing to help them, what they eat, how much, their weigh too... So we will advice you from there.
Sure.

At the moment I feed them food provided by the vet mixed with milk + water 4 ml per dose by syringe.
I do it thrice a day (I'm not sure if this is suitable).

The one very active (Ritcher) weighs 110gms, while other (Parker) weighs 120gms.

Ritcher started to lick his fur and bite the tip of syringe.

Parker just stays at a place sometimes meow or walks.

It sounds as too little! Give more often! They are much underweigh!
Their daily need at this moment is. 32-35 ml!

I suppose vet gave you some sort of kmr. What is this milk you are mixing in?

Can you get goats milk?

Which country are you on?

Ps. With standing ears I think they are about 3 weeks.

Ps. More often and around the clock if you manage to sleep less on the night...
He seems just somewhat skinny, but if you look at that thight, he is emaciated...

Thank you StefanZ StefanZ
I increased the dose to 5 ml and feeding them again at the moment.

I got buffalo milk, and as directed by very I'm mixing it with water then with food supplement.
I'm keeping the solution enough viscous that it flows through a syringe.

Buffalo milk is OK to use, better than cow milk.

Goats milk we know since old is safe and very good, but we know buffalo milk is ok to use. We had forumists from India and Vietnam whom did use this.

I'm sorry, I was away for some other reason.

On the night of 11th September, Parker died.
When I got back from work, she was barely moving.
I took her to wet and he told me she won't survive long, I thought it won't happen.
It was depressing, when I lifted her and I felt no movement.

The other kitten (Ritcher) is doing good.
He bites now, and we are feeding him around 10-12 ml milk per session, 3-4 times a day.

Though, after feeding him milk his stomach fills up like balloon, like way too stretched.
I'm taking him to vet today for regular checkup, will update here.

Thank you for the concern.
