You may remember Missy, I've posted about her a zillion times! :tounge2: Anyways, she is 5 1/2 weeks old and we are beginning to wean her. She started eating her formula mixed with baby food( all meat) in a dish yesterday. Today she walked up to the adult cats food and started crunching it up like there was no tomorrow! Since then she has refused her formula mix and will only eat the dry food. I mixed some warm water in with it and she loves it! I plan to get her some Kitten Chow tonight if she isn't too young for it. She hated the wet kitten food I offered her. Isn't this a bit strange? Should I supplement with formula or is dry kitten food and water enough?

Dry kitten food is fine for her. Thats about when they usually start eating on thier own. If she is drinking water on her own, there's no reason to worry. If you want to give her some xtras you can try some yogurt or cottage cheese.
