kitten registration CFA TICA

hello everyone!
i got a kitten and i have his litter pin from CFA and im confused what to do now... i want to register the cat in TICA, so do i need to register him on CFA first? and how do i do it? thank you

I'm more familiar with CFA than TICA, but I'm pretty sure you'll have to register the kitten with CFA first.
TICA has a page with information on how to register a cat, with different scenarios. Both parents are registered with TICA, one parent is registered with TICA, cat is registered with another association, etc.

I believe the kitten must be registered with CFA first since you have to provide a pedigree to register in TICA. I have CFA registered cats that I also registered with Tica and had to provide a pedigree. I would guess that you would need that to register your kitten.
