Kitten Chuffs/Puffs (?) at me

My kitten (9-10weekish) is a complete odd ball and will chuff and puff at me or in general for completely no reason.
Closest thing I found online was “spitting”
Anyone else have a cat that does this?
She does it wether she’s happy or mad, energetic tired etc. Is she just vocal? She makes completely no other noise besides this and her insane amount of purring, doesn’t even meow or mew, asked the owner who we adopted her from if she ever made noise and even he said she never meowed as a baby haha.

She may have something wrong with her vocal cords, etc., it may be all she can do. It IS odd she doesn't meow at all. When you bring her into the vet for vaccinations, bring this up. As long as she is eating, drinking, using the litterbox, and acting crazy like a normal kitten, adjust to it and just love her!
