Do you have any way to get there? Do you have your own car. or could you ask someone to drive you?

Put him in a cardboard box or a cat carrier with plenty of soft blankets, I don't think the journey will be that tough on him. Probably safer to take him for a blood transfusion now than wait until he's strong enough to travel.

I called back to ask about price but turns out they don't have the facilities to monitor him:sigh: plus they would have to draw blood to get a good indication on type and such.
Then why suggest it? Aargh :ohwell:
Called my own vet and they can't do anything more either...
What I'm doing is the best way, he needs to make new cells. That takes time...

Still hanging on. He walks away if I mess too much, his head is up a bit more.
He also hissed at a sudden movement from my hand.
I put food in front of him and he looked but didn't touch...I'm going to keep doing what I can..

Well he's swallowing again and just had some food on his own and oral painkillers. I'm going to give him small bits every hour until I go to bed and fingers crossed and lots of prayers 🙏 and hope those blood cells grow.

The pet hospital suggested I give him some beef tartare so I sent the hubby. I mixed a bit in with his babycat food and he ate it...and then he played.....
First his tail, then the tiny toy cat I have in there, then my finger and he proceeded to attack the snuggle kitty and promptly fell asleep. It was very small play...

I'm scared though...scared to go to sleep and find him, scared to go to work for those 2 hours.....today was a rollercoaster....

I'm worried that he might have some internal injuries that are causing him to collapse.
The fact that you mentioned mals in the area also makes me wonder if he was picked up and bruised or escaped from them despite being injured.

This is what I was writing when he had his episode..

''I think he had too much excitement this morning. And I believe his crashing is actually a seizure....

Every crash starts the same, he behaves differently, pukes, then he starts twitching in the limbs, then he goes limp and after a bit he gets up but head down and in a circle and then he slowly comes back''

I was half expecting it to go the same way...but he kept twitching and trembling...at least I was there to hold him :sniffle:

Thank you all for being here and giving me tips. It really helped to come here and share the ups and downs. I comfort myself knowing he was fed and loved...

You definitely should feel comforted by the love and care that you gave him. He knew that he had a home for his short life and that someone was giving him food and keeping him safe.

I am so sorry for your loss. The little guy probably had more wrong than was visible; this may have been from injuries or congenital conditions. You fought the good fight for him and that was as much as you could do.
