Kidney Health & Beef Tripe vs Grassfed Ground beef?

I think I saw that Tripe is ok for kidney cats? But not sure about Grassfed Ground Beef? Anyone know the difference re these & kidney Health?

Tripe is wonderfully nutritious, I fed it to one of my kidney cats and she loved it. Personally, I would never feed ground beef to a cat unless it was ground specifically to be raw fed to small animals. Or are you planning on cooking it. The problem with buying ANY meat that is already ground (grass fed or not) is the possibility of pathogens is much greater when the meat is ground.

But to answer your question, Tripe is lower is phosphorus than beef, and with kidney disease, you want to feed lower phosphorus foods.
