Kidney diet- older cat

Hello all! I’m a new memeber and am wondering what others feed their older cat with elevated kidney levels? My vet recommended Royal Canine, but I am unhappy with the ingredients. Though the meat used in it is high quality, the first ingredient is corn! There has got to be better options. Any ideas or recommendations? Thanx!
